no knitting news other than i am still working on the back of the kyoto sweater. so instead lets admire my new boots. i love my new boots. (do you know how hard it is to take pictures of your own feet?)
hedda, you need these boots. they are so fab. the low heel makes them so comfy. they are pricey but considering how much i wear boots (um, every day) i will totally get my money out of them. and i will absolutely baby them so they last.
cork floor is not holding up to the wear and tear of a 14 year old lab hauling herself to her feet from "her spot" multiple times during the day. that and they did a terrible job installing it. the rest of the floor looks great. but we will have to replace those couple tiles where la smoochas poochas sleeps.
oh yeah, and go up a size or half size on the boots. they fit small. i went up a half size and have to wear thin thin socks. they'll prolly stretch out a titch once i really start wearing them.
on the upside they'll make your feet look really small...
yeah, i dunno about the orthotics. dicey. isn't there a store in the market that carries fluevogs? maybe try a few pairs on, hopefully ones in the same family as the ingrids.

So, if I normally take 8.5, but take 9 with orthotics in, I should order size 10? !!
I suppose you can always send 'em back for exchange...
